FAQS

1.   What are my Shipping Options for any item?

Traditional Shipping options are Air, Ground, or Ocean.
Domestic shipments are either by Air or Ground.  Overseas Shipments are by Air or Ocean.

Domestic Shipments:
Items handled by commercial carriers are required to be collected and packaged.  Items will not be accepted if they are loose or unprotected.  Non-commercial carriers or specialty shippers may accept items that are blanket wrapped.  Those items are usually restricted to ground shipments.

2.   What do I need to know to make the best decision between the different shipping options in terms of Safety and Value? 

Domestic Shipments:
Normally ground shipments take 5 to 7 work days from ship date to receiving.  Rates are determined by size and weight.  Air shipments are usually faster and items shipped by air receive better rating with smaller sizes.  Blanket wrapped shipping is routed and can take 2 weeks to 2 months.  Size is restricted to smaller trucks.

Overseas Shipments:
Ocean shipments take longer, from 2 weeks to 1 month.  Shipments usually are placed in ocean shipping containers.  Size and weight are more liberal in rating.  Air shipments are faster and favorable rates are for smaller items.

3.   What should I expect when I ask for a quote?

You can expect our undivided attention.  We will ask the Right questions to come up with the Safest and most cost effective Solution.  Our quote will offer options and we will discuss those options.  Our quote will include every service you are requesting and broken down separately if you desire.  You will be provided with all the details to make the right decision.

5.   What about insurance coverage for my shipment?

If you select our insurance and use our shipping service your item is covered when we take possession until it reaches its destination.  If you do not use our shipping service but ask us to pack and crate your item, your item is covered while it’s in our custody.   Our insurance is for full value.  We also offer lost only coverage.  Please ask us about all the details as you will be pleasantly surprised with our coverage in comparison with other offers.

6.Does your company ship everything? Practically!
